Odos: Journey To The Cross
April 2 @ 1:30 pm - 9:00 pm
ODOS is a Greek word for “Journey” or “road.” In this case, we are talking about the journey of Christ to the cross. Focusing on the events leading up to the Crucifixion, this is our attempt at creating a rich, multi-sensory experience that reflects the tradition of a labyrinth and liturgical prayer. It has been described as a passion play with no actors, a prayer walk, or a multi-station prayer service. The idea behind it is to immerse yourself in an experience for all senses, allowing them to connect with well-known scripture and passages in a fresh way. The journey is designed to take you to a different place leaving your everyday life behind to meet with God. The journey ends near the foot of the cross; contemplating the silence of Christ’s Death.
We encourage you to come and experience the journey of the cross.
