Pastor Jason “PJ” is the Lead Pastor at The WC since August 2018. Prior to that PJ has served as a Youth Pastor for over 19 years and Media Pastor for 2 years. Graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo where he received his B.A. in Bible and Communications (Drama, TV, and Radio). He is currently working on his Master’s Degree in Apologetics (defending one’s faith) and Cosmogony (origin of the universe) from Regent University in Virginia Beach.

Married to Chase for for over 25 years, 4 kids (2 in college, 1 graduated from High School, 1 in High School). Loves to read books from autobiographies to comics, watch movies, play video games, and board games.

Chase is Pastor Jason’s wife of more than 25 years and they have four children Sam, Cassandra, Peyton, and Trinity. She is a native of Delphos and she and Jason met while attending Central Bible College. She is currently going to school to become a Hearing Aid Specialists. Currently she works as a Special Education Aide at Franklin Elementary in Delphos and is a Cheerleader and Flag Corp Director for Delphos Jefferson High School.

Chase leads our Decorating Tribe and our Annual June Women’s Conference,  “Gather."

Pastor Mary has been a member of The WC since April 2013. She started her ministry leadership co-directing in Children’s Ministry from 2017-2021. After leading in Children’s Ministry, she began to lead as the Connections Director. Mary received her Pastoral Credentials from the Ohio Ministry Network in April 2022. Showing her community love and compassion is a high priority to her. If you are wondering where you fit in life Mary will be happy help you find that out!

Mary has been married to Dave Deringer since November 5, 2010. Together, they adopted their daughter on December 19, 2019 in South Carolina. Mary loves music, game nights with her family, naps, spending time on her farm with her chickens and turkeys, enjoys a good laugh, and is always ready for a coffee hangout.

Kris Tabor has been serving at The Wapak Church since November of 2021. He is attending SEU Ohio for a bachelor's degree in ministerial leadership of Christian ministry. He will be graduating in the fall of 2024. His wife, Jenna, serves alongside him.

Kris loves music, playing video games and time with friends and family.

Tom and his wife, Kerri lead our Prime Timer 55 and over group. Tom and Kerri have 9 children—only two are still at home. Tom and Kerri were missionaries in South America for many years while their  children were young.

Tom loves reading, ministering to the people and has a heart for missions and our PrimeTimers. Tom and Kerri have been attending the church since 2012.

    

Brian is our Co-Worship Director and is a farmer and business man in Harrod, Ohio. Brian loves to serve the Lord with his voice and leading the conjuration into worship each Sunday.

Brian and his wife Tracy have 8 children and numerous grandchildren. Brian loves time with family and friends.

Paul is our Co-Worship Director. Paul is a very talented singer and musician and plays multiple (and we mean almost every kind)  instruments.

Paul and his wife Renae have three children, Rylen, Amelya, and Lydia and have been attending since 2016. He loves time with his family and friends.

Amber is our Children’s Director working with kids from birth thru 5th grade. Amber and her husband Scott have 4 children, Isabella, Julianna, Noella, and Parker.

Amber loves working with the children and seeing how they change and grow from year to year! Amber is currently working on her creditialicng license with the Assemblies of God and working at a daycare during the week.

She and her family have been attending since 2015 and are an internal part of the family here at The WC.

Marsha has been a member of The Wapak Church since 2006.  She is a hometown girl,  lives in Wapak with her husband Phil and has one son who is married and lives in Cleveland.

Marsha manages many aspects of the church and helps with the flow of information and needs of the congregation, ministry leaders, and Pastor’s. She is always willing to help with any questions you may have regarding a ministry or event here at the church.

Kelly and her husband Tim have three boys Cody, Kayne, and Jacob. Kelly loves to serve by cleaning and helping to maintain the building for family and guests.

Melina is our Women’s Ministry Director. She and her husband Greg, love time with their family and friends.

Melina has a heart for women —-to encourage and love them as they grow in their life with Christ.

Dave and his wife Mary have one child, Beverly. Dave serves as Treasurer enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Jerry and his wife Lisa enjoy camping, walking, and serving the elderly. Jerry also serves as an Usher and enjoys meeting and greeting everyone on Sunday’s.
